The family signed a licensing deal with the online casino and poker room software developer Microgaming. The company is now creating a video-slot based on the family and its members. The game, which will be available online, is to be released later this year.

The Osbournes, an Emmy Award-winning American MTV reality show was considered one of the most viewed series on MTV on its first season, 2002. The show was broadcasted until 2005. Family members Ozzy, Sharon, Jack and Kelly boosted their careers with the show’s popularity. Kelly is now a singer.

“When I came into this business I would never have believed that one day we would be welcoming Ozzy Osbourne and his family into the fold, but this goes to show how far we have come” said Roger Raatgever, Microgaming Chief Executive Officer.

Over 150 online casinos and poker rooms use the Microgaming software. “Online gaming is well and truly part of the entertainment mix and we can't wait to launch our cutting edge Osbourne video slot to players later this year. We promise it will be a game to remember,” Raatgever added.
